The following projects are the main focus of Ambios Ltd activity at the present time:
Nature@Sundown
Nature@Sundown provides opportunities for adults to experience wildlife at dusk, through a programme of FREE events.
The project aims to encourage people to begin their own personal learning journey, providing a chance to investigate in more detail what they have seen and experienced, whether watching otters, badgers, bats and barn owls or exploring rivers and seashore at sunset.

LEMUR
The ‘Learning Environments in Marine, Urban and Rural areas’ (LEMUR) project is an accredited training scheme that offers a fast track route to developing the necessary skills and competency required to gain a professional post in nature conservation. The ‘on the job’ placements and training reflects either a marine, urban or rural aspect of nature conservation.
To date LEMUR has provided 36 funded heritage bursary training placements over 3 years that have given each placement the necessary skills and experience to enter a professional post in nature conservation.
Through training hubs in Herefordshire, Devon and Sheffield, the project provides twelve 9-month work-based accredited training placements a year which are hosted by a broad range of local heritage conservation organisations.

EcoTrain
This innovative project has been developed between Ambios and several partner organisations in Europe. It offers volunteers the chance to join a small team of like-minded people and gain a European perspective of ecology and environmental conservation projects in Spain, Hungary and Poland. We are now recruiting participants for our funded 2010 placements.
The project is funded under The Leonardo da Vinci programme which is part of the European Commission’s Lifelong Learning Programme. Leonardo Mobility funds overseas placements with the objective of improving Vocational Education and Training across Europe.
