The 2006 season kicked off at La Barronawith the EVS volunteers building their accommodation - this year they will be living in the hatchery on the beach. Days before the work began strong swells had overtopped the beach all along the Pacific coast - but the La Barrona house remained dry, with the waves parting either side of the dune that fronts the site. Good site selection MILENYA! Thankyou Luke, Rumen, Laia and Izzy for all the hard work. La temporada de 2006 empezó en la Barrona con los voluntarios del SVE construyendo su acomodación. Este año ellos estarán viviendo en el tortugario en la playa. Pocos día antes que empezaron las obras, fuerte oleaje habia llenado la playa a lo largo de la Costa Pacifica pero en la Barrona la casa se mantuvo seca, con las olas partiendo de los lados del duna que da al frente del sitio. ¡Buena selección del sitio MILENYA! Gracias Luke, Rumen, Laia y Izzy por todo el trabajo duro.
